Born 1940 in Chicago, and moved to the UK in 1948. Started painting with my mother in oils at an early age, but since retirement have been taking lessons in acrylique.
A dilettante* with no defined style, who despite the pleasure and therapeutic benefits of painting seems incapable of applying the necessary ‘perspiration’ to supplement the illusory ‘inspiration’ in order to progress.
Possibly a prolonged period of confinement might help.
