Maud Louvrier Clerc vit et travaille en bordure du Bois de Vincennes (France). De son enfance en banlieue parisienne où ses voisins sont australiens, suédois, philippins, allemands etc, elle tire une conscience singulière d'appartenance à un même monde, régit d'une incroyable diversité et un intérêt pour les flux. Passionnée d’économie et de biologie, elle développe une réflexion sur l’évolution. L’identité, l’interdépendance et l’empreinte sont les thématiques essentielles de son travail.

​Maud Louvrier Clerc lives and works at Vincennes (France). Her childhood in the west suburban of Paris had a distinctly international flavor, living amongst neighbors from Australia, Philippines, Germany, Netherlands or Sweden and gives her a singular awareness of belonging to an incredible diversified world. Passionate about economics and biology, influenced by philosophy, science fiction and astrophysics, she develops a reflection on evolution, between resilience and innovation. Identity, interdependence and footprint are key themes of her work. At the same time, the practice of rhythmic dance and music have profound resonance in her works, notably through the synesthesis that occurs regularly between sound and gesture. These arts reinforce in her the subtlety of the junctions between psychological and environmental architectures.
